My oilfield boots are Red Wings as well. I loved them. The absolute best pair of steel toed boots I've ever owned. No breaking-boots-in-blisters and very light weight. I do not wear steel toes if I don't have to..... I don't like them that much.![]()

Yeah they aren't cheap. Cool thing about the oilfield though, a lot of companies pay for your boots. GR and I went. Mine were like $160, his around $200 and got some socks and waterproofing goo, and didn't pay anything. -
I wear Danners. I have a pair of steel toes and 2 pair of non steel toes for working on fires..
They just seem to fit my feet better than anything else I've tried.. -
I used to wear blundstones, but have now moved on to whatever is the right $ at the time...

they look like a grannys shoe with a thickazzzhat sole and strange ankle support...
the last pair of boots I had forced upon me by relief workers after the bushfire...
all because i was covered in ash and had sandles on.....
#### ground was puffy but they didnt believe me.. LOL -
