happens all the time to me. I just keep on trucking. I have never had a cop pull me over. it would take for somone to call the cops and by then long gone. and noone would ever call the cops. you will find in some parts of states all roads are truck restricted. and after 1o times of gps recalculating, you just stop giving a crap and just go. never been ticketed

Lol, your days coming. Wish you the best. We have all been on weight limited roads etc. But "all the time"? Your luck will run out sooner just by the odds.

Your funny. I may add also no cell phone, so had to find a payphone, or use carrier pigeon. Well mayby not the pigeon thing. But did have to plan ahead to make the call. Ahh the good old days.

Yeah, honestly it is pretty hard to fathom the way it was. So you had a hundred truckers clamoring for a payphone at the truck-stops?

Yup, still some TA's with the booth rooms, though I think they just use them as storage now.

And phones you could call 800 numbers on at every table and lunch counter in the restaurants. Stops all sold phone cards to call non 800 numbers with.
