I experience my first tank of diesel gelling here last week.

( never in my 15 years of trucking has this ever happened )

Let’s say I drove 15 miles at a 25% derate to put some number 1 in, once that happened it fixed all the problems.

 

Gelling means your fuel filters get clogged with wax. Once it's out of the tanks and flat packed into the filter it's over. No coming back. If you're already gelled it's time for diesel 911 and new fuel filters with fresh diesel in them.

 

Carry some power service 911 with you, in case it happens again. It will un gel ur fuel

 

It was roughly 1 minute after filling 1/2 my tank with #1 where the de-rate disappeared and truck went back to normal.


I know now, went to the store and grabbed a bunch of extra bottles to keep on the trucks.

 

Guess you were lucky. Typically the wax doesn't go back into solution after it's been packed.

 

I'd prefer a 50k
coil.

I have tried every single pair of gloves and then some, and every single one of them rips in the fingers and palms after like 2 months.. Some dont even last 2 weeks....

These leather ones are insulated and water resistant to keep ur hands warm from the cold...been using them all winter long in the slushy snow and was expecting them to get crunchy after getting them wet and drying, but they never did.... Great pair of gloves for winter... would buy just the regular non insulated for summer work as these get hot on my hands anything over 40 degrees...they are about 25 bucks but well worth it in my opinion....

Mechanix gloves are the same price and dont last worth a #### . I have tried every single glove they make and they all rip.... These are the best gloves i have ever worn and i am a glove snob , obviously... figured id share if anybody has the same problem with bad gloves

 

Take a photo of your gloves.

 

They look good, except for that black stretchy thing making it just a hair harder to put them on and off.

 

I almost didnt buy them because of that . i thought it would suffocate my arms .but it is not bad to deal with. Keeps the heat inside the gloves instead of it escaping. Had them since november now. I never had a pair last more than 3 months before
