Ugh. If I have to extend my daily fasting from 16 hours to an entire 24-30 to skip those two places, I definitely will.

I'm starting to agree with some others here .
If all I can get at a ta /petro is fast food garbage they are no longer of use to me as I can get that anywhere .
And won't stop anywhere without a sit down restaurant with decent food .
Tried to give them feedback to no avail but if you are listening TA here's my message: close the restaurant and I won't stop there PERIOD ! And you can kiss miss fuel business goodbye .

    Bzinger,
I agree with you. I've been driving since the mid 1960's and I always chose either Mom/Pop or a TA/Petro just because of a sit down restaurant. The Flying J's were good too when they had their own restaurants and not Denny's but if TA takes away the Country Prides they're done for me too.

I have sent numerous replies to TA and they do not reply to you no matter what. They are really losing customer service skills every time they change their leadership. Even if they hurry up and make the transition to IHOP's like they have said they were doing would be better than just closing them all.

I can't believe their corporate model is changing from what it was for us and if they don't wake up and "smell the coffee" it will be too late for them.

I stayed at the TA in Redding last night and they had 5 of 8 diesel pumps closed with caution tape wrapped around them all. It is difficult to understand what these folks are up to.

Your right I try to buy something if staying the night to help support the stops. If not buying fuel. I usually stay in mom and pop stops. Without supporting them we lose parking. I know prices are higher but we need them as bad as they need us for sure.

because this industry has become the last hope for some people and they are only in this industry for a check. We all know this but with the mega fleets now recruiting from homeless shelters and such what do you expect. Not that all homeless are bad or anything. But my point is the new recruits are not out here because they like the profession. It’s a opportunity of last resort.

Yes I have with my EFS fuel card. You still need to punch in a code on the pump

And this isn’t something that just happened overnight,it’s been ongoing for quite a while (as long as I’ve been driving(6+ years),maybe even longer).
