Really want to find the picture, was taken a steel processor. Loading inside building, then finish outside. To get out, you go down a ramp and turn left to get to the parking area. A black/chrome company driver decided to pull out with no securement. He was told it was not a good idea by the loaders. As you can guess, the mess at the bottom of the ramp took a while to clean up. Did I mention it was custom cut sheet stock?

Could be he raised the box so it wouldn't fill with snow while was parked.........extra weight.D.Tibbitt, God prefers Diesels and jamespmack Thank this. -
Regular steel coils your correct. However rod coils? That is how Charter wants it loaded. Racks on the first and last. Middles touch floor.
But even that depends on end user and heat treat. If its gonna be drawn wire, no problem. If its finished rod thats gonna become a GM trans input shaft. Big problem. There are thousands of different packaging and product.
His loading should be fine, his securement is not!FerrissWheel, James j, misterG and 4 others Thank this. -
