an "old trick" we did back in my garage days, we would get a very LOOONG length of washer fluid rubber tubing....

disconnect it from the pump, wrap it around the upper radiator hose, and reconnect it to the pump. warmed radiator coolant, warms up the washer hose, warms up the washer fluid.....

Brilliant! Maybe that is the reason the washer fluid tank is above the radiator as well?

Simple green, I just dump some in. Helps with road salt and calcium chloride well.

Them will work in the mean time. Late summer I replaced every part including mount. Except pump in mine. Works like brand new on my old antique pile. Should have done it sooner.

In high school I would add ammonia. It is really great for cutting those bugs.

It is also really great for shutting up too loud friends in the car.
It came to the point where, if I turned on the wipers, everyone would yell to shut up quick because he is going to use the washer fluid.

They could not stand the fumes of the ammonia when I turned the vent fan on high, but I was used to it from washing dishes at a Chinese restaurant.

However, ammonia is not very good for the paint.
