Picture will be in next message.

Any suggestions on what to do. There is a rebuild shop here in town but, they don't come in until Monday.
The corner garage got I guess some of the broken bolt out....

I thought about going to Lowes or something and just getting an open ended screw that the bolt will go back on....but id like to do it right I guess lol

    cke Thanks this.

Seeing that it is a ground bolt can it be grounded through a mounting bolt and still charge??

You mean another bolt somewhere on the truck? I haven't a clue. The wires running to the alternator are just long enough to reach the alternator, they probably won't reach elsewhere...

    cke Thanks this.

I remember my old cars and trucks had a ground on alternator bracket . I don’t know if a guy can do the same thing on a truck alternator or not.

    cke Thanks this.

This one is brand new, its just been a spare. I installed it Last week and realized that I installed it upside down, which means I had to stretch the positive wire, anyways I tried to reinstall this morning.

This is a 210 amp alternator, I wish it was only $250.....

Could I possible, take the nut off here, go buy a bolt that's longer the the screw and just screw it into the on the alternator and just screw the nut back on there?

How many threads can you see in the hole?
Has someone tried a ez out and did it break off?
