brain dead idiots come in all forms (wal mart shoppers, dog owners, cigarette smokers, nascar fans, etc.) and a lot of brain dead idiots seem to gravitate toward truck driving. so it's just a matter of probability that your trainer will be a brain dead idiot.

That for me, as a newbie is the most frustrating thing. I want quality training, and that is just not easy in this industry.
First, with no experience, you have to go with the training comapnies, and the training companies will let someone with only 6 months be trainers.
Second, many of the newbies lack a respect for the industry and have no real desire to be a professional driver. They just want want a job, and think trucking will be easy. With no real respect for themselves, others, or the industry but just wanting to make a few more pennies per mile they become the trainers. No wonder that problems abound.
Third, many a good trainer with the experience and know how to train have been jaded by direspectful, unintelligent, dirty, financially challenged students that the few extra pennies per mile isn't worth the hassle nor the wear and tear on their trucks.Panhandle flash and luvtheroad Thank this. -
One of my 4 couldn't keep from pleasuring himself and he wasn't embarrassed by it...

What company are you with? Ceetainly there are rules for how trainees and trainers must act within. So, surely you could have gotten those less desirable trainees off the truck, and maybe even sent home so no other trainers would have to put up with them.

etch5858- Trainer or no trainer. I wouldn't put up with it. If I had to sleep in the same bunk.smell it,hear it. No way. Lets just say! Thangs happen out of our control, people get hurt all the time in job related accience. but safety first. We are all adults here, I will treat everyone like one. As long as they act like one. Not a jerk off
. Next time just key up the CB-mike. Then tell everyone listening his name, truck #, ect. Let them know he a jerk. Ask for a new trainer based on he a jerk. As I understand it, theres is no bad marks give for asking for a new trainer ask. Before someone gets hurt.
Sorry I couldn't do it.
