Ya know it’s only a term I’ve heard in truck driving school and at mega carrier training yards so I’m not sure if you guys calls it something else, but it’s when you get into the oncoming lane to make a right hand turn, for example

Ya portland can be pretty tight... its a old city. Same with seattle and spokane....there is some low bridges in spokane that u wont find in the atlas ... i think ive sat in front of every single one of them asking how tf am i gonna get out of this mess? It is quite the head scratcher sometimes how i end up in such predicaments.. But ive never hit one before so i guess im not doing all that bad.

I laughed when I looked at my atlas and seen there were no low clearance bridges listed for Oregon, but it could be as you say

Ya they only list them for highways and big roads... but trust me there is some on side streets... i went to deliver liftgates for a customer up there one time and his shop was on the other side of the railroad tracks , which u had to cross underneath a 10.3ft bridge ..... Ya buddy this is not going to work... ur forklift has wheels, come out to the street if u want ur ####
