I've been curious about truckers having flings in other towns while on the road. And, I'm not talking about the truckstop hookers or "lot lizards" in which I think they are called. What's it like out there as far as meeting women??

And, no, I'm not a slut. Just curious that's all. I guess some drivers have the dedicated routes so they are more likely to see the same person over and over as opposed to an OTR driver who has different routes all the time.

Anyway, I debated whether or not to post this thread cause I thought some peeps may get the wrong impression of my question.

I sure hope so ... haha...variety is the spice of life!

Lets be honest any girl that is dating a trucker they only see once a month who lives in another state would be ignorant to think he is faithful. I wouldn't expect her to not be with other men.

Your thoughts should be on learning how to drive and not thinking about having flings. Sorry, but you have alot to learn and I suggest you pay attention and ask alot of questions because what you're going to learn in school is just the tip of knowing how to drive.

No thats not ignorant. There is NO reason to be unfaithful just because time/distance keep you apart.

When I drove OTR, I was too busy chasing a pay check, to worry about chasing after women!

Really, just because we don't see our guy or girl for a month at a time we will cheat? Not everyone. I drove by myself for almost the last year. Did I go out and do anything like that? NO! Did I have opportunity? Sure. Just because you can, does not mean you will.

Not all of us are scumbags who think fidelity is a word in the dictionary. My guy thinks the same way. Why risk what you have for a night of fun?

While I am not doubting that there are people that take advantage of the separation, there are a lot of us that won't.

I will have to live with my actions and this is just one thing I would not do.

Some things never change, going back through time to the wagon trains and pony express riders and anybody who travels for a living, be it an airline steward or a cruise ship employee.

As far as today's truckers, from what I hear, the internet has sure streamlined the meet and greet deal.
A lot easier than CBs and payphones.

Sure you can but just keep it to yourself because it doesn't look good and it can be asked in passing and not seem a priority. Dude.
