Just updated my spreadsheet. I fell behind by 3 weeks. It is current to yesterday.
I actually got a load going to California last week! I just about dropped dead from shock. It went pretty well. Got in and made delivery with no problem. Actually got re-loaded the same day
Had to make a altitude sensitive load p/u coming back out and got routed the super southern route. I ended up having to swap it out with another driver in Tolleson AZ at the drop yard there due to not having the extra time to make the extra 400 miles on that route. I ended up sitting in Pheonix for a 34 hour break as I have the flu and it is kicking my butt for the last 3 weeks.
From there, I p/u a load in Nogales AZ and took that to Garland TX. I actually beat the paid miles on that trip. Not too often that happens. That was a dry van load which was actually pretty nice. I enjoyed not having the rfr growling for a couple of days. The crete van was in pretty good shape as well. I noticed that Crete is going to a 4 month service interval on maintenance on trailers now.
From Texas, I got a load and am now sitting in Atlanta waiting for 1400 to go get a load to Indy. Dunno what I'm gonna find there for frt. This will make a 2700 mile week!JimTheHut Thanks this. -
I believe I stated in an earlier post that I would put up my 2008 sheet. I have finally gotten around to taking care of that. This is basically the same format except I did not record my hub miles for each trip as I did with my 2009 sheet. Also it is in a rough draft and hasn't been colorfied to show medical/reset/hometime on the mileage page. There are other differences however minor which shouldn't be overtly noticeable. The sheet format is an older design so is a bit different. I hope you enjoy it

Hello all. I just spoke to a recruiter at Schaffer and was told the following:
Max 3 wks with trainer at $600 per wk because I have 19mos. recent experience.
After that .38cpm avg 2200 mpw until they get to know how I run, then 2600-2800 mpw.
How much of this is true? BTW, love the spread sheet!!! Are you company or O/O? Thanks in advance.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
Does anyone have any info on teaming with shaffer?
Spoke to a recruiter, was told:
.42 to .45 cpm
ave 5000 mpw
doing a walmart dedicated, dc to dc
was wondering how truthful they are being?
Do they get you home on time for time off?
Do the trucks have apu's and prepass?
Thx
