I agree with the cpm thing . Under 50cpm after the pandemic era is low ball'n it.
A month ago i started at Pohl , 53 cpm not including i believe 2cpm safety bonus at your anniversary date or your reset date which is 1yr after you killed your bonus.

So, it’s -10 with wind chill of -26 (-18/-33 by 0800) ... Bbrrr... does anyone else have issues keeping their truck heated in such weather conditions? I’m not talking about using the APU, but running the actual Truck.

it happened the other morning when I was in CB but I ran the APU that night (I was warm) but didn’t have heat in the morning and they suggested running the truck to keep the engine warm in single digits ... ok, can do...

but now I’m running the truck and still not generating any heat just like the other morning.

suggestions? (Yes, will be talking to the shop, just wondering if I’m missing something simple before I embarrass myself... but geesh, it’s just running an engine and turning the knob to red... lol)

I idle mine at that temp
My truck will be at 150 degrees idling all night but I baby the motor to warm it back up once I leave the truck stop in the morning

I’m in a T680, and I gotta bump up the rpms to about 810 to keep it warm, and it still does a self warmup for the def system

Dam... sorry to hear this ! I got a Freightliner. If I was in that situation as cold as it has been I would run what ever would keep you warm and safe. I am not able to bump up my rpm,s . My truck will do a regen every dam night if I idle the motor . Scary the crap out of me lol
It jerks the truck lol makes me think I am back doing reffer lol

Thanks... Will give that a try... I did figure out how to lock the RPMs on this KWs... so we will see if that helps.
