Oh fellow drivers will be quick to call in and tattle on you but think they can be bothered to talk to you? I'm not saying all drivers, but the majority any more. My husband gave up trying to strike up a conversation with other Roehl drivers beyond the nicety of "hi", unless whoever he's around seems like they're willing to shoot the bull. He even will wave to the drivers going the opposite direction out of courtesy (no he doesn't do a spastic wave lol, although that'd be an attention getter, wouldn't it?), some will wave back, others, eh. Roehl is what it is. They're a typical company, which isn't what they advertise, lol, but as long as you don't go in thinking they're extraodinary then all the stupid stuff they do won't be overly surprising. Don't get me wrong, we've got our fair share of gripes about them (want the novel? lol), the best they've done would rank in the "okay" category, like gee thanks for doing what you'd say you'd do finally, but nothing outstanding and we don't expect the "kindness" to last for any amount of time.
Oh and guess what? For the first time ever we qualified for food stamps. I'm thinking of sending them a thank you card, what do you think? Darn, it costs money I can't spare, nevermind, guess whoever is monitoring the boards from there can relay the message :biggrin_25511:
Did you see they changed the rider policy to where your passengers HAVE to have a passport now (exception being minors)? Happiness and joy.
Also anyone else notice the extra deduction for disability insurance coming off your settlements now? It just started deducting out of his 11/4 settlement. Go ahead, take the money, we don't need it, it's over rated anyway lol.

I looked at my statements and its been coming out for quite some time. I believe roehl used to handle this on their own, but now use ING to handle disibility.

Im glad we have it, but will say this you better do alot of follow up phone calls to make sure everyone got the
forms or the fax you sent out, otherwise you wont get a check from ING

One thing is for sure their recruiter from Atlanta came in and stared at the ceiling and out the window when he gave his talk. Also acted like he was in a big hurry.

Are you saying that you already had 1 deduction coming out for disability ins and now they are taking 2 or did you never have the deduction before and now you do?

Two 34 hour restarts in a week. One was behind a warehouse at a consignee. I'm running a good load now though.

I'm planning to stay out until Thanksgiving. Considering the economy I suppose I should be thankful to have a job.

You can still deduct on taxes, keep all of your receipts and it will come out more then the 0.10 cent per-deim you can deduct the difference.

They tell me January is the slowest month of the year. March is when there is a boost.

Can you make truck payments, and earn a living on what you have been doing so far?

So Jen is it my understanding that your husband is experiencing the true colors of Roehl? Don't get me wrong I'm not taking any joy in his issues with Roehl. I was told once and I believe it's true (by our former DSR) you are only as good as your last run. Appreciation lasts only seconds.
