It's always entertaining to sit and watch as the truckers eat their own... in most stories where drivers are doing totally ignorant and dangerous things and maim or kill others, the flock is there to hold their hands, pat them on the back and tell them how it was the other people's fault and share in the victim status... in the latest fleet to be piled onto.. the story is always that the driver is an idiot and how his or her death is funny and even entertaining... It's pathetic!

The first half of that drives me up the wall!

They think they're being part of the "brotherhood" by having a ####-up's back. None of them realize that back in the day, when shame was still allowed, no one was more brutal about stupid mistakes than the more experienced drivers.

One of Amazon’s super truckers almost nailed me this morning. o_O

Driving down I-94 in Wisconsin near mile marker 320 near Racine one of their single screw Volvo daycab drivers (he was bobtailing I might add) decided to hurtle along at 65-70 mph even though icing conditions were present (temperature was hovering around 27-28 degrees and there was light drizzle transitioning into snow going south into Illinois). Wisconsin DOT was treating the roads(just barely) but there were ice patches in spots. As soon as that daycab passed me I slowed down from 50 to 45 because I knew something was going to happen and sure enough,20 seconds after he passed me his rearend broke loose and he was fishtailing. He recovered after going across both hammer lanes and then the shoulder (almost eating guardrail and concrete barrier in the process) but almost hit me while he was still slowing down pulling off the shoulder into the granny lane where I was(it would’ve been a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson for him to learn had he hit me).

They didn’t put it in the ditch, but the GPS told them to turn. Live action in my backyard. I didn’t know we lived on the 13th green. Sad part is, this isn’t the first time.
