Crazy talk, isn't it. It's like humans existed without electricity, running water, and WiFi for a long time.....

Even crazier was how I passed the time when the power was out. Read them things called books!

(Still do that if power goes down)

Alright, as soon as this cut trailer tire is replaced on the preload I picked up we’re gonna play “back in the saddle” for the second time that I’ve been down and out for a week or more :D

We had a tractor powered generator for almost as long as I can remember. Cows HAD to be milked. Milk HAD to be cooled. Cow HAD to be fed. Generator wasn’t big enough to run everything at the same time. It really took all day to do chores when the generator was running.

Now you sound like my Jewish friend who unloads me in Bayonne NJ:p. I can't even pronounce his name. JDL. Don't ask me what it stands for Lol he has his own rubber stamper that he uses to sign the BOL. "You no move until I taketh da chock away"

I feel sorry for him having to deal with the non english speaking people. 46 years he's been with the company.

If you have access to natural gas (LNG) consider gas heat and a medium (5000w or more) generator that runs on natural gas.
Your gas and diesel in storage will go bad but LNG will not.
Any duel fuel generator can be operated on LNG by connecting to the house system with a quick-connect for a gas BBQ.
If it is too expensive to pipe in natural gas then heat with propane and all the above still applies.
