Its been the same woth so many lease purchase companies. My favorite is the guy who bought a used one from Prime. His words, "I come to the shop in Springfield to have my oil changed and they put a hold on me, Say I need a new engine. There is another truck in there too for the same reason. They remove his engine and mine, paint them and put them back in the opposite trucks. Charge ea of us for a new motor." He had quit and gone to work for Arrow.

Example 1: Miles 2069, gross pay $2510, variable costs-fuel $911, lease reserve (.07cpm) $145, fuel tax reserve (.015cpm) $31, variable mileage payment (.14cpm) $250, advance $100. Fixed costs - Lease $500 (big mistake), insurance $233 now here is the biggie STUDENT PAY $75.. various smaller amounts. Yhat's right, C R England actually CHARGES trainers to take students on their trucks. This is the most recent example, I have many weeks with more gross income but just as bad on the bring home.

I can't recall ever hearing anything positive about leasing a truck. Even if a person could scratch out a halfway decent living it still seems like the headache to pay ratio makes the whole deal not even close to worth it. Just sounds like bad business. You get most of the risk and receive little, if any of the benefit.

I'm not sure if I'm doing the math right here or not, but according to what I read I see you have $265 left and that's before taxes. I commend you on staying as long as you did, but at the same time wonder how long you have been putting up with pay like that. That is about the same pay I used to make bagging groceries when I was in high school 14 years ago.
