Which truck stops have the best coffee? And if you feel so inclined... How do you mix up your cofee if you're not a black-coffee drinking super trucker.
Lets talk coffee

Pilot, by a long shot. Especially the gourmet blends, Sumatra and Costa Rican. But the regular dark roast ain't too shabby either.
As for what I put into my coffee....only my lips. -
I'd second Pilot for the majors, I look for Farmers Brothers at the smaller independents. Kwik Trip and Kwik Star have very good coffee as well, these are a family owned chain of convenience stores and truck stops in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Kwik Star is the name in Iowa because Quick Trip was established here beforehand.

Sadly there are no Pilot stops on my current route, I've got a chuckles and a crappy stop with watered down coffee to choose from, but eventually i'll be running OTR and look forward to see if Pilot makes the grade with my conniseur coffee taste buds =D
Thanks for the replies fellas.
When im desperate ill take a monster mocha and heat it up in the microwave in my mug, could be better but I swear it beats the water with a squeeze of coffee the 1-stop serves =DLast edited: Nov 17, 2009

I feel like such a softy lol.
I got to likeing that french vanilla creamer several years back, before it was at every truck stop. I would buy the creamer cups by the case at Sams and keep them in the truck.
Now they are everywhere, and I have gotten so use to using a little of it in my coffee I have gotten to where I do not like it black anymore.
I like to mix the pilot intence energy with 1/3 house blend. That keeps it from being too bitter, and is soooo good with the wimp creamer lol. And wakes me up well.Baack Thanks this. -
Pilot or the Conoco, Downieville, Colo. behind the POE. Refill on my 20oz coffee cup is only $.50 ($.20 if that's all I have to donate) and it's on the honor system.
Baack Thanks this. -
Somewhere on here I have a lists of my favorite coffees. Has to be black and strong. I like Burger King. Dunkin donuts. Hess truck stops have a good cup. Hypercaffeinated or hyperjacked something like that. Good brew. At home I like folgers. I had some the other day probably the best cup I ever had douwe egberts it is imported from holland. Dutch coffee. I googled it and you can get a small pack for about 6 bucks, but a 2 lbs can is about 30 bucks.

I agree with the Farmer Brothers, Denny's Coffee, Petro I think has the best truckstop coffee. I like mine Black and Hot.

now if I want a real pick me up, I'll get the coffee at my local Middle Eastern resturant, Arabic coffee. Some of it comes from Turkey, it has the consistency of mud, but it'll have you in DT's once it wears off.
