I got out of Target after 12 hours. An agent wouldn't give me a load after he found out I was going to Target. What a fool I could have picked up today.

I love, I don't love, that the piece count was off. I delivered cereal, how could the count be off on that?

Please do laugh. I am posting my misfortune for others entertainment. I’m setting an example of how to get screwed with dignity. Lol. I just keep repeating to myself,”It is the Broker. Who has diminished himself, Grasshopper.” Seems to be working. Wife and I are on different sleep schedules, That seems to be helping. We only cross words every 4-5 hrs. It seems I have a passive aggressive streak of sarcasm affecting my communication skills. I’m working on my cross examination of the alleged crime. However the Prosecution has currently rested. Lol. I think their going to try some Layover pay gimmick. Not sure yet. They say it depends on how many Trucks are affected to what degree. We won’t know till everyone’s unloaded. Other Brokers are already paying layover only of $250/day.. So far 2 O/Os have offered the Guard $500 and $1000 cash to get unloaded. It may be because I jokingly said it costs $250 cash to get unloaded here, and I refuse to pay. Somehow it got taken seriously. Gotta do something to avoid boredom. Anything besides argue with the Prosecution. I should add, I realize you’re not laughing at my situation. About all I can do is laugh about it. Cant say I’m surprised. They said it would be tomorrow, when a full Crew comes to work. Looks like they went home again yesterday. Normally it’s 24/7. Show up early, get unloaded.

The last time I was in Laredo it was HOT...punched in your face HOT. The one thing that saved that trip was a great Mexican restaurant where I had my very first Aqua de Jamaica. Try it, you'll like it.
