Yes, I agree with you and have the same thought too. I’ll put some goop in there and see how it goes? Not sure what else to do? Thought about some kinda grommet in there?
I know it could potentially be an issue though.

Finished up the trailer today. Broke a fitting on an airline into a air can, put new stuff on today with the new tank and valve. Put a new tail light too. Also put a slick disk on the king pin too. No more grease.
Put one of the tool boxes on today. I don’t know how I feel about it yet? I also wasn’t going to put the steps back on either but thinking I’m going to. They are so useful I would hate not having them. I don’t know the jury is still out.

How about some factory international steps on each side? I’m bout out of truck rebuild money and motivation.
Monday will be a solid 2 months. Hope to have it all raped up Friday. Then clean the shop real well on Saturday. Maybe off to play truck driver on Monday with a few short shake down runs?
