Going to pick up at an Army base. Couldn't think of anything to wear. Then it dawned on me....muah ha ha haaaaaa!

First time parking at Love's. Holy hell, I've never seen such a circus. I think I'll stick to the hidey holes.

 

They are the go-to place for medieval wear and overpriced razors, but not truck friendly.

 

Just wait til u venture over to the fuel island !

 

I use my WEX Fleet One app to find the cheapest fuel, and I stay there, or a rest area, or outside the receiver if there's any place to fit a semi. Basically anywhere other than a mega stop. But it was a good time to call it a day and get a shower, so I figured what the hell. Luckily my reset will be over a few hours before the people next to me, and then I'll blaze on outta here.

Well, I'll probably have to knock on some sleepers first since they're already two rows deep in front of me where you aren't supposed to park. I might have enough room to get out. We'll see.

And what the hell with pulling corners at 25mph with straight pipes and laying on the Jake?? A man driving a truck like that should know better. People walking, sleeping.

 

yeah. Unless I need something. I prefer rest areas to truck stops. I have coffee, food, drinks, normally. So parking at some of the rest areas is more peaceful and beautiful in some places.
