I understand some companies, like crst for example, will sue you if u quit before a year, or will block other companies from hiring you. Are there any starter companies that don't do stuff like that? I could understand if they want u to pay for their school but I don't really want to work for a company that is going to sue me

Uphold your end of the contract and have nothing to worry about.
If you want to leave early, then pay off the remainder of the contract.WorldAtlas, Deere hunter, Jesster916 and 17 others Thank this. -

Mostly it's people that broke their end of the contract (borrowing money, and refusing to pay it back) that get sued. The same people can't accept that they actually are in the wrong so have to make up stories to "prove" just how evil the company they still owe money to is.
Heck, a good bit of stater companies don't even sue the debtor, they simply turn the bill over to a collection agency, Of course there are some, like CRST, will even go after the new company for breach of contract.
Moral of the story, pay your bills and you will have no trouble. Better yet, don't get yourself beholden to any company and pay out of pocket (bank loan, etc.) so they have no hold over you.Deere hunter, slow.rider, DoubleO7 and 4 others Thank this. -
I don't think Morning Star Trucking has a contract. It's a California company.
