Declaring war on fossil fuels and a political mandate which threatens to both tax consumers and remove industry subsidies is certainly bound to skyrocket fuel prices.... Californians anyone?

Didn't mean to get off on a political tangent. I signed the new contract after talking to my boa. I'll be able to report first hand. Supposedly I'll have access to all the current loads plus previously unseen loads. I'm supposed to be active under the new contract within 48 hours.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Yes they've jumped that much because they dropped to really really low levels during the pandemic. Again before the pandemic hit last Feb the price of diesel was around the same as it currently is. Everyone got use to the $2 gal fuel while moving right thru Atlanta, Chicago, etc at mid rush hour without touching their brakes but they are forgetting what fuel prices were before the pandemic hit and supply and demand took a tumble. Now supply is up, plus the seasonality of it and fuel is right back to pre pandemic but of course it's easier for the Trump cult to just blame Biden...

So how's the new program going? Set to close on my truck next Monday and schneider wants to know if I am sticking with the old way or new way... haven't decided yet. Is this new all in program any better or worse?

Thx senile Joe for buying more foreign oil and selling strategic oil reserves. He is hell bent on giving the Middle East control of the oil production again

Yea, has nothing to do with Texas shutting down refineries from a snow and ice storm...

Don't forget the wind turbines... It's probably because of them too. You know that funny math where 20% of the power source not working causes 100% of the power failures.

and just how in the world do you run the A/C at full tilt 24/7 for at least 4 months straight, yet you can't power the heat for a week?

I haven't really had the chance to assess it thoroughly. A couple of new loads I've never seen before popped up in Phoenix but so far all that has really happened is that every load now lists the revenue as air and doesn't break it down into fsc, linehaul, etc. I just tried to pull up the board to search for a load and got a blank page so I don't really know what is going on currently. I'm on home time thankfully.

    slow.rider Thanks this.
