LOL My Ex Drives for Central. And My best friend is trying to get in there. I have been reading the forum for a long time. If it is a problem will not post.

You have just as much a right to be here as the rest of us Lady.
I have been out of Central longer than I was there at this point, or close to it.

A little note to the drivers that have 6 mo to 1.5 years.
Things are not always greener at the other company's right now. It is not the time to move. Work things out where you are.
It will be 6 mo at least before things get better at the smaller company's, and may be more like a year.
I would guess at 2 years the driver pay and miles should spike up well. But that will mostly be regional. Which is what most not in teams want anyway once they get some miles under there belts.
Just drive careful and keep safe. No load is worth your life.
If you are too tired to run the load and get it delivered on time, regardless of how you worked your book, you need to stop and get a nap.
If the roads are icy or snowy, and you are concerned, stop.
If the roads are icy and you are not concerned at all and running your rear end off anyway, stop. You should not be on the road lol.

No offense taken...and Jess I ended up dropping my Spanish class with 4 weeks left in it. I couldn't let one class drop my gpa. Because then I would lose my financial aid. But the good news is.....27 more Credit hours and I will have my degree....So only well was going to say two. But Three more terms especially if I take Spring and summer classes I will be done in 1 year total....

Hey, I just got my CDL and am looking for a job, I just called Central Refrigerated and their automated message for recruiting said they are not hiring graduates or experienced drivers. They are only hiring for those that go through their training for a CDL. Does not make scene, If you don't have a CDL they will hire you but if you already have a CDL or experience they are not interested. I have been researching trucking company's for the past week for a job and they all seem to be playing some kind of game. Is there any out there that aren't playing games???
