Sounds like you may have a case. Call up the attorney general in your state and see what he or she says about this. We have a new liberal speaker coming to Washington, D.C. Maybe she'll start investigating the trucking industry and put a stop to all the lies companies tell. Maybe she'll bend her ear to your plight. Write to her and see what happens. Sounds like to me you've been defrauded.
Don't delete those emails. I'd even forward them to another email account for safe keeping. -
actaully i drive regionally for john veriha out of marinette wisconsin out five off 2 weekends i might add and i was just told yesterday that my weekly average is 3067 miles a week for 5 days of work so please tell me how great jb is...all i hear about jb is how low thier miles are but how awesome the per mile pay is sounds like jb only pays that because they know your not going to be moving uch

ok your right i did make that figure up and yes i am a jokester but let me ask this all those larger companies i.e. swift schneider, jb, werner and heck even some other huge ones that i am probaly forgetting do obviously have a huge turnover rate hence the reason they are always hiring and always hae empty trucks, maybe if you took the time to think about why you always see thier ad in the paper you would realize its BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE QUIT and jb hunt did not just turn crappy like the rest of the big companies no they have always been that way ...alright i am done butchering the english langauge and mods i give you full permission to corrct the grammar and spelling in this lol -
Several years ago I was brilliant enough to fall for a sales pitch for "The New" Owner op division. Now me being relativly new to van freight thought wow this outfit is all over the place, they must have boo coo loads. So I went through the bs of their long orientation getting that big black suitcase of a q comm stuffed in my sidebox... Well I can go on and on but ends up You do a lot of wal mart dc, seems like for friday delivery. Then you sit at the nearest truckstop fore the weekend watching the white trucks getting loads. After they are gone you may be offered a 300 mile load trhat picks up the next monday another 300 miles away.
Oh I had an25 year old GIRL for a FM. this was her first fleet and an O O fleet to boot.Needless to say, she didnt keep us running and she tried to run us like company trucks. Youknow the line "You gotta do"whatever.I ept having to remind her MY name was on the contract as OWNER Not Mr JB.
Oh did you ever notice the fliers at the phone areas in trucks that promise you the best money, home time, benifits, etc? Ever notice also that there is NO name of any company on them just a toll free # and maybe a first name? After you call and hear the speil he MAY identify himself as A JB recruiter... Isnt that deceptive advertising?:smt031 -
The fastest way to recognize a JB recruiting telemarketer, flier, jerk at the truckstop is that they will never let you know it is JB until the last minute. The reason is that they know that JB has a horrible rep and people will never listen to anything if they come out and say HI IM WITH JB. I hope im not the only one that sees a snake in the grass with that ploy.

Hubby was recently at a truck stop when a JB recruiter approached him with a typical opening line from them. "How would you like to work for............?" Hubby just shook his head and walk right on pass him. Another driver said to hubby "I take it you don't like JB". Heeeeeeeerrrrrrrreeeeee's your sign! lol
