Every big carrier there is has a terminal in Laredo. I'm sure that all of them have their drivers avoid going through San Antonio for fear of the ghost of Sanata Ana.

 

Think about this for a minute. What is usually hauled in a reefer?

Just incase you don't know the answer it is food. So unless the fine people of San Antonio don't eat there is a lot of reefer loads going there.

Ill be! I didnt know there were forum memebers so close to me. I too am from San Antonio, well OK Seguin but close enough.

To answer the question, there is leteraly tons of freight that comes through SA. It doesn't matter what kind there is all kinds that come through here. Flat, dry, and reffer.

FYI i am always on the CB Ch. 19 mostly so if you are passing through try for me. 205 or Long Haul. See ya around driver!

I just moved from Ohio to San Antonio was working for TMC. I got home every weekend in Ohio was lucky to get home every two to three weeks in San Antonio and that was during the summer. Freight is slower in the winter, so if you want to get home in San Antonio don't go into flat-bed.
