Question for those with own authority
I’ve been thinking of getting my own authority for a while, but i get mixed responses about booking loads considering the age of the authority.
Some say 3 some 6 month minimum etc
So what y’all think about possibility of booking loads right after getting it?
    Any advice?

There is a sub forum here titled Ask an Owner Operator. You might want to post it there for better answers.

Some brokers want 6months. You are still going to find loads, it will just be harder. Totally worth it IMO. Your not going to starve in those 6 months, you are just going to spend more time looking. In the end though, what is 6 months in the grand scheme of things?

You will be fine imo. Tons of brokers called me right away and then after a year some of the bigger ones reached out.

I’ve had brokers wave the 3-6-12 month bans, it depends on how you speak sometimes, and how desperate they are. You won’t go broke but you will put in work to prove yourself.

My fav is when they ask me to provide other brokers as references. I'm always like, hey you called me man! I am not digging through paperwork to produce brokers emails and phone numbers!

We take a leap of faith together or ba bye! It has never cost me a load.
