Well I'll go wherever they send me, including out east. The way I see it, if I head east, that's at least one good paycheck. After that, I'm close to friends and family, so it's all gravy baby.

Lynch, Your going to Fort Collins then to Butte. If you get in the loop you will go from Butte to Idaho then back to Fort Collins. Or from Idaho to Memphis with Potato buds.
If you go to Fort Collins. Go in the Denver Term and pick up the map for American truck wash. You will need it to get your trailer washed out.

Hey Man, we are all Shirley's Boys when she needs local work done. I have spent several days dragging her trailers around LA. Get off your high horse now!!!
As for Candice, What ever I can do to get you in trouble with Ms. Red I'm all over it. Watch out for that purse of hers.

You can have the east!! That area is for real truckers like you not a California ######## like me. I have not had the best luck with miles when I'm in KH2's area. I get all the miles I want when I stay in LNG's and SAE's areas.

Hey Retired, I have an apu on my truck. It works out well with the heat and cold as needed. The well-rested driver is a safe driver is true. However, I have been very comfortable in my truck and have had two Petes or KWs parked next to me a keep me up most of the night. Their vibration and noise will wake the dead. Add in some refers and your looking for a new parking spot. I use ear plugs a lot of nights.
I know people in this company that don't have apu's and they idle all the time (their truck is running for days). As said in others posts your fuel bonus will be shot but the company does not bother them at all about it. With that said, these guys are always moving. If they have extra time on their hands their asking for some local work to do.

    soon2betrucking Thanks this.

TRUE!! TRUE!! TRUE!! on the dispatch boy thing.:biggrin_25514:

I have no problem LNG. He does have a very dry personality but, has joked with me several times.

Home time is a real bad subject right now. I sat in the flying J parking lot in Billings for thanksgiving. I know for a fact that there was freight that would have gotten me by my house. However a Home Depot load to Sheridan was higher priority. There is a lot more to that story that I'll tell you about later, not on here.:biggrin_25513:

6309, thanks for your intelligent reply that directly answered my question, as opposed to soon2betrucking's asinine reply telling me to go find a different career.

oh im sorry retired.... then call me asinine then.... choosing a company based on weather or not they allow u to idle is not the way to do pick a company.... and NO. w.s does NOT ALLOW IT, but you could get away with it!... im not going to tell people they allow it, cause they dont!, like 6309 said some drivers get away with it... some dont....

Are you in LV? That is the only city in Nevada we have a terminal in. Watkins hiring area is (I believe) 100 miles radius.
