    I've perused it, and avoided it. If I wanted truckers talking politics I'd sit at the counter in a truckstop. At least then I can have the opportunity to offer insightful correction to somebody who's gums flap faster than their gears turn.

    I remember when a friend pulled his VW motor. He pulled the bolts and then we lifted it out by hand.
    After rebuilding one if you added an external oil cooler they would run for years.

    Another guy I worked with in the 70s had a VW Rabbit diesel. He commuted a little over 100 miles a day round trip on 2 gallons of diesel. Thing always sounded like it was going to come apart but it jsut kept on going.

    Meanwhile here in SW Arkansas, the annual springtime blanketing of everything by the yellow pine pollen has started with a vengeance. The car is in my carport and I had just washed it yesterday.
