Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

    I've never seen the inside of one, just pictures. Look like kind of a neat contraption, but I would bet that general dry freight warehouses wouldn't like them. Maybe if a person had some kind of dedicated run to get the most out of it, but seems like the kind of a thing that would do 2 things ok, but not very good at either.

    5mouths2feed,..did you get a chance to check your injectors over thanksgiving? i think i'm developing a little flutter in the o'l b model,i've noticed a little algea in the tanks and had some in the secondary filter when i changed fuel filters last week. how do ya'll get that dang stuff cleaned out,iv'e drained my tanks. i guess i just need to run the o'l girl more. sitten's harder on it than anything,i guess.

    Never had algae in tanks that bad. Usually use fuel treatment though. Trying to remember what the old timers told me about that...can't remember. Need to put something in to clean out your fuel lines.

    the guy that delivers parts from our local Pete dealer said he was going to bring a (NEW) additive for me to try,said it would clean the lines,sounds kind of like what your talking about ,wheathauler,thanks so much for the feedback and if you remember the name of the stuff maybe you can post it for me,again,thanks a bunch!i'm trying to avoid having to take lines off,but i will if i HAVE to:biggrin_2553::biggrin_25523:

    Sea Foam worked great for me but it aint cheap
    Killed all the Alega and my fuel pressure went up 20lbs
    Also have not had to change the fuel filters in 7500 mi
    I was having to do it about every 3k before

    thanks a million,ragold!! where did you pick SeaFoam up? this is what i love about this forum,everybodys so willing to help! maybe someday you folks will need to know something about a milkcow and then i could actually be of some value!:biggrin_2559:me and my o'l b model thanks you again!

    It took 4gal and two filter changes but it's gone at last.
    I know in my heart that NJ adds water to the fuel and I'M sure thats where I cought it last year
