The injector test fine on the meter so I am going to just replace the spring if I can find it.... The last injector I replaced was $340. Pressure tested the cooling system and found that the bad head gasket is pushing the 2-3 gallons of water in the reservoir out of the overflow tube. Its also bubbling oil out the front edge of the head then blowing back all over the underside and dripping everywhere. As your all aware I've basically just been pouring money on the ground. I am also going to have to replace a wheel seal while I am home..

Good news is that I mentioned to the wife that being located near Little Rock , AR would allow me more home time and better in and out loads. I think being gone for 30 days had alot to do with her starting to look for homes in AR already. hahahahaha If anyone has any leads on home locations or suggestions of areas to look please PM them to me..We prefer a country setting that still allow reasonable access to the city, 30 minutes out or so... rent or rent-to-own Thanks

i think your right about seafoam, its a good add. but whats the stuff called thats specifically for algea,(i use regular transmission fluid for fuel additive and to lubricate pump and injectors cause of this dang low-sulfur fuel),but i can't for the life of me remember what the name of the stuff is? maybe thats what my Pete dealer is bringing.are your hulls loose or pelleted,if they are loose, they will be really fluffy!what kind of trailer do you have?

I have the low horse Black-top. Wish I had the red I could use the extra ponies hauling a hopper. I had planned to pull all the injectors and test/clean/inspect them. Originally I was thinking one was either bad/dirty or out of adjustment. Now I know the primary cause but while its down its only a few more bolt to check them all and re-adjust.

hey 5 mouths, I used to pull converts, their a typical hermaphrodite thing, useful for many things and good at none of them. if you haul bulky feed ingredients they bridge up badly, you have a cross member every 16" or so to support the floor panels when you are set up as a van. the basic arrangement is either 6 panels that fold against the sides on timpte and 'huskers, and 4 big panels that fold 2 to center and 2 to the ends in a wilson, the Wilson you need a boat winch to flip the panels they are heavy! the timpte and husker you can do by hand and do a complete convert in about 10-15 min once you get the hang of it and if your stuff is in good shape. if you get one be sure to get the "church doors" on the back and go at least 78" and 84" side is better, most fork trucks can get in then. I do like a convert, but they do run a fair bit heavier roughly 1000- 1500# estimated. makes a light truck more important. hope this helps you figure out what you wanna do let me know if I can help ya out with more knowledge. and be safe in your travels. Dan

no prob 5 mouths, drop me a note anytime, if you can put it behind a truck I may have pulled it, done a lotta stuff since I started drivin in '93. hoppers, flat, van and reefer, heavy haul, did towaway for 3 plus years, so I have a wide variety of experiences. for now I just run back and forth across Ia. pullin' me lil' ol' hopper. waitin' for the day I can get back on heavy, wide and funny again.

    Whats the 7p rule?

As for the re-locate--our plans are for early summer after the kids get out of school but we want to start looking around and deciding what town we would prefer. Check schools, housing costs, shopping etc. We can learn alot online but just need direction on which towns/city to avoid and which would be preferable. Thanks All

5Mouths if you're looking for country look north of LR around Vilonia would be my first choice. South out around Alexander or north of Conway around Greenbriar.
