LOL, that's pretty good, rag.
You know how to keep a bear out of your yard? You put up a goalpost.
Every place around here was full of wet corn by 3 today. Could be noon tomorrow. On the bright side, I passed a Level 2 DOT inspection today with flying colors. Didn't have the scales with him, but showed him my 2 previous tickets, and they were good.
It pays to be lucky once in a while. -
RW. and ragold,.. thats like pouring salt on a wound for a bears fan like me!

Harvested milo last two days. Have 50 acres to do then finished. Profit wise not the best by far but could be worse. The good thing put very few miles on during harvest...sure helps on fuel.
Hope the loads keep coming and don't die out like last year. January and Feb. are the months I worry about. -
Well WH, maybe you can come over to IL and sit in line with us for a while. I actually had a decent day, the guy I was hauling for had corn that qualified for a non-GMO premium, and found a place 55 miles away that would take it, so I got 4 loads of it. The old man however got stuck in some lines, managed a big 3 loads hauling it 16 miles, and one of those was the preload from the night before. Heard a report today that IL's corn is 72% complete, I'd say that's about what our area is, still a lot left in places.

howdy boys!!!!!!
it took me a half hour to catch up like most all of you I'll be happy for this harvest to be in the bin we have filled every bin on the place including some 1000 bu antiques now I have to get my 12'000 emptied of beans before I can shell anymore corn and I just waited 5 hours to unload but gotta go now and reload so I can come back and wait in line lol ttyl be safe -
Finished harvest. Called the dispatcher to see what was going. He said it was dead...not a big surprise. Seems to get slow after harvest and being December it will probably get slower.
Good luck everybody on harvest, hope you're done by xmas.
