yipee.......!! -
It doesn't matter since I don't run the northeast anyway. -
then you admit that you really have NO IDEA as to whom the customer is...
you shouldn't have said you "have an idea".........it made you look foolish....... -
jonr29657 Thanks this.

and why are you insulting the fine truck drivers who do go into the northeast.......?? calling other drivers stupid isn't a way to make friends here. you just insulted EVERY truck driver in america.............feeling good about yourself in doing that..........???
i think you need an attitude adjustment towards your brethren drivers....... -
It might depend on the Walmart. My wife is a manager in receiving at Wallyworld and they allow drivers to sleep at their store.

i have learned something new about this problem at least how my company is handeling it as far as NYC goes it doesnt apply to most dedicated accounts but mainly to just our general freight guys...
We have a Terminal Set up in Kerny NJ, and every general freight hauler is asked weather or not they want to make any deilveries to NYC or the 5 boroughs, and its a 1st day on the job question and depending on how u answer your screen is marked depicting yes or no, and what USX does is when freight is ordered to go into or come out of NYC area we have a Fleet of Day cab drivers and they make all the pickups and deliveries from that area u just show up at the terminal and drop or pick up your load and i think that is one way to handle that situation.. it only applies to the NYC and 5 boroughs but i guess u could say its an improvment of sorts -
USX has done that for sometime that I know of. I remember a few years back when I was still driving being told that. Let the locals find them places!
