That's the way is was when I was still running. New color every quarter and they would tear one or both of the ears off for the first two quarters and leave them on for the last quarter. Though I don't think one jurisdiction and the next do the same thing.
Back in 2009 I had 11 DOT inspections between January and September. All hazmat tanker. Then the product was retested and determined not to be hazmat and I wasn't inspected again for a long time. I was inspected in Louisiana on Mar 31, Level I. The next day in Oklahoma, I got another one. I said something about the stickers being good for 3 months and the cop laughed and said the it was the beginning of the new quarter today.
What if it Snows?

Well I was told 0700. It's 0725. Still waiting. Most unfriendly bull service writer in there now.
Yesterday there was one at The Petro in Kingman that was literally just screaming at this guy. Foreigner. But what an absolute C.
Poor dude just didn't quite get it. When he was asking if it was OK to go eat while he waited, that was a bit much for me.
That place has some good wrenches too. But what a C. I mean if you hate your job, find a new one. Leave the country or something, and come back and everything will be paid for, for you, then you can just rag on people all day.Dale thompson, InTooDeep, lovesthedrive and 5 others Thank this. -
I got one of the Weber Smokin Joes. Even though there's just me-n-the missus, we like to grill up a mess of meat if I'm firing up the grill. Only way to to that is like in 3 or 4 shifts. So I'd like something big enough to do like 4 chops, 6 chicken breast halves, and 6 burgers in one shot.
Still, the truck schedule I'm running doesn't permit a predictable grill schedule, so no point in getting one now.
That doesn't stop me from standing in front of the display model grills, turning knobs and raising lids, though.Dale thompson, sealevel, InTooDeep and 4 others Thank this. -

I think the over blown dramatic theater that is more pronounced now in our social interactions. Is a direct result of reality T.V.
It was not tolerated well before. The masses have become numb and/or participatory with the spread of reality TV. Life does not need to be a confrontational drama every minute.
About the only place I watched that happen in the '80s was when a gay "drama queen" was around.......Dale thompson, InTooDeep, lovesthedrive and 6 others Thank this. -
In other news Uncle and Aunt did a fine job of getting 4 kids ready for school this morning ON TIME! My sister and B-I-L went to get round 2 of their vaccines, and we were left in charge. Not bad for a couple who don't have kids and rarely do more than basic monitoring of normally self sufficient elementary kids.Dale thompson, lovesthedrive, LoSt_AgAiN and 4 others Thank this. -
I don't qualify for vaccination yet........ Just more proof I am a "disposable citizen" and not an "essential worker"
