Once again, you are missing the point. If you go to a bank, and get a loan, it is reported to the credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. GOOD OR BAD WHILE MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE LOAN. It's always shown as a "account in good standings" IF you are making the payments.

I signed on, for a loan, from a company that reports to a credit reporting company, as I was told, in the paperwork I signed. Just like they say they report the lease truck programs on the credit report (Think DAC for your credit) I know alot of people don't understand much about credit and how credit works, but if I take out a loan, and it isn't reported to the credit reporting companies, then it was a waste of time in what's called "building credit" because you aren't getting, ehm, credit, for paying back that debt. Do you understand how this works?

CR England may not be "out to get people" but I'll tell you that I have had a hard time getting my little paychecks out of them, and while I understand that I am just a "trainee" with their program, I have moved enough freight to completely pay off my loan, put food on the table, and take care of homelife, if I was paid what I earned. Training to me isn't seeing that I can point the rig down the road, then rolling off for nap-time, wake me in 10 hours, have fun driving. But that's a different complaint, this complaint is that they aren't showing their loan to me, to a credit reporting company. Like any other loan on the planet that you'd get through a LEGAL SOURCE. If you don't understand why they should be reporting a loan, then don't post, you won't understand, but if you understand banking, and credits, and loans, you'll see how this is a big odd.

Credit reporting companies need to know all the debts that are legal and in good standings to compute your credit score, what I have now is a secert debt that nobody knows about other then me and the company, and isn't being reported to the credit bureau, GOOD OR BAD.

Not all debt is BAD, you know, and showing that I'm making payments is GOOD. Not having it reported is BAD. I don't see where you get off thinking that all debt is bad, or that it's a good idea to have a company only send off bad things, and not send off good things about you.

Then again, that sounds alot like a DAC report doesn't it.

    Sad, let me quote ya....

"the US Government gives CR England $5000 in tax credits to train each person"

So I AM right. CRE actually has an incentive to see drivers quit. Those drivers can be replaced with students...Students who've gone through a school and may have paid money for. SO--a student may plop 5 grand down for training to CRE and then CRE gets a 5 grand tax break on top of it?

A company will lose 10% of its drivers each month, will treat its drivers like crap while they have a lot full of empty cleaned outs sitting around, they collect outrageous tuition charges from students if those students have gone through their schools, and they top it off with a nice tax break for each student.

Sounds like this "driver shortage" is paying off for folks at companies like CRE. I know Swift is doing this as well.

Man, the newcomers in Washington are gonna be told of this racket real soon. I salivate over the day I send off my tell-all letters.

I knew all along they wanted turnover for that welfare. Well, I ain't paying it anymore, boy.

    lupe Thanks this.

This definetly sounds like it would fall under the RICO Act. Where's the FBI when they could do something really useful?

Oh this is cool, now they are not only taking out money for my school, and other fun things, but now they are taking out money for a reserve fund. For what, I do not know. But I pay money to the company for the honor of working at said company!

    :occasion4:

So I'm now poorer then I was when I started this job. :toothy7:I have never worked at a place where I have been treated so poorly. Does all other companies take out money from your paycheck for a reserve fund (please note, I am not a lease operator) It's not like they are suppling me with t-shirts and coats or something. Heck, even when I worked at jobs that made me wear outfits like that, I didn't have to carry a reserve fund around with me.

Panda, you work at CRE, right? I forget, and I don't have time right now to reread your posts.

Did these guys you work for let you in on this "reserve fund" and the fact they were gonna make a reserve fund deduction from your check each pay period?

If they didn't, maybe you can contact your local labor board. It's illegal for these guys to make this kind of deduction. I had to fight a company in Salt Lake once for doing something like this and I won. I took them to the local labor board on Broadway, 300 block, in downtown Salt Lake.

Yeah, I work for CRE, kinda. Trying my hardest to get a local job. And no, they didn't let me in on this reserve fund bit, nor have they said BOO about the health coverage, which I know should have been coming along shortly.

Hey, I had a friend jump ship to SWIFT and he's all happy 6 ways to sunday about SWIFT over CRE.

I'm thinking about taking the hop if I can't get anything local.

Tip's right here. No one has any legal business deducting anything from your pay unless you signed a statement authorizing the deduction. To do so is a violation of federal law.

Sad_Panda; You are one of the biggest cry babies I've ever heard.ENGLAND IS NOT RIPPING YOU OFF!!! It's on their website and pay scale. Most Reefer
outfits do this. It's a reserve fund of I think $280. In case YOU QUIT and abandon your load and truck or destroy a load.AFTER A YEAR with CRE YOU GET IT BACK! Plus interest. Change your atitude and you will do well with CRE.
go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CRENGLAND for more info.
