I quit smoking 6 years ago and took up vaping which I still do ...not probably the healthiest thing but way better than smoking .
A few years ago I tried a cigarette and it smelled awful and gave me headache.
I can now smell any kind of smoke a mile away .

Same, I can smell it when the car in front of me is smoking. Sometimes even on the highway.

Genuinely thrilled for all of you quitters! Live long and prosper!

I hate that cigs even exist.

I was in ICU for a month. It kinda keeps ya from smoking. No more cigarettes after that.

I chewed nicotine gum and gradually started substituting regular gum. I still chew a lot of gum when I'm driving but I've been nicotine free for close to 14 years. I'm not quite sure how I managed to breathe as a 3 pack a day smoker for all those years.

Woke up one cold February morning, my day off, and no ciggies in the house. Too lazy to get dressed and drive to town just for smokes... it's been over 10 years. I guess this turkey is frozen. Lol

I am sorry you had to go through that, my friend.
