Yeah its not like anyone ever fudged the diminsions before. But yeah, let us see your handiwork.

*Thinks back to previous fleet manager who mis measured some mini mobiles by 6inches, before ordering permits with no truck on them going from PHX to florida. Me and the securment instructor at the time measured these ourselves, cause I was gonna be the hapless idiot pulling it, before I got sent something higher priority going north, and they sent a 3 month driver who prolly couldnt spell permit instead*

And I only know they sent a new guy, cause then the securement instructor told me about the ticket, invalidated permits, and the fact the poor sod blew an open scale on top of it, and was where he got raked over the coals. Forgot which state. Heck think he got busted in Lordsburg.

Oh well. Not my problem anymore.

Well, the container ended up being too tall, so we took it out. Hauling this for the Navy, Long Beach, CA to Portsmouth, VA...

So was it actually a container, with a non-standard length and width?

If you have winches down both sides of your trailer you can always hook your flat hook into those winches. I do it quite a bit on wide loads so I can tighten both sides equally.

Yes it was. I'm not sure the exact width and length, cause as soon as I saw the height I knew it was too tall, measured it at 9' tall.

Good tip on hooks in the winches.

And one side of the support legs is sticking out. No key with it so we couldn't straighten the boom. Fortunately, we permitted for a little extra.
