looking into buying a Columbia with a cat15 twin turbo this saturday and i checked the car fax on it and the last update in 12/11/2020 was "vehicle repossessed ? what does that mean
will i be able to register it (IL) ?
will i have any issues later on?
should i avoid this?
the story is a farmer owned and the truck had been sitting inside a barn/warehouse since 2012... its got about 650,000 miles and look very good on pictures the sellers friend bought it and now the seller is selling this truck. he has told me he has 2 of the same trucks
truck looks pretty clean just has some dust so the story somewhat fits

Means the dude couldn't pay for it and the bank came a got it. Not your problem. What model? Hope it's not a SDP

Who is showing as the one who lost it?
The farmer or the 2nd guy in line?
Something doesn’t add up, if it sat since 2012 it surly should not have still had a loan on it or if it did it shouldn’t have been much if it was refinanced at some pointBrettj3876 Thanks this. -
he told me he has already sold the first one he had the ad up for like a week -
-
Does the seller have the title in his or her name?
-

That’s owned it since 2012
he offered to put the title In his name but I don’t think he knows the truck has repossession -
