Fair enough, I bought this truck that way lol. I'm not asking how to delete anything rather how to get it running right the way it is. You and I both know that no one in there right mind would spend money to put that emissions stuff back on. I'm just trying to deal with the hand I was dealt

Making an SDP run right shouldn't be that hard but it depends what exactly the previous owner did with it. Are the IVAs still there? Was compression dropped? The SDPs use different injectors than the previous C-15s but are still usable.

I don't know enough about turbos and exhaust housing and wheel sizes to make a good recommendation but if you are putting 600 to the wheels a stock turbo meant for a 550hp engine is probably way to small. Does it have a wastegate? Is the wastegate working properly? The SDP compound turbos can make great power. One of the turbos is different then the previous C-15 compounds and they work really well.

Though the 177148 wouldn’t be my choice I don’t think that’s the issue, or all of it anyway. Are you just checking the air to air or plugging the elbow on the fresh air side of the turbo and checking it all?

    What about exhaust restriction?

    lester and spsauerland Thank this.

Honestly don't know exactly how any of the tests were done for leaks but it's been atleast 3 times.

I keep getting different answers from different mechanics but the one thing that keeps coming up is fuel issues. It's driving me nuts

A lot of people only test the CAC.....you can still have a boost leak around the left side of head at the elbow, a plug under the elbow, freeze plugs that go in from the bottom of the head turbo elbow etc.

Don’t over look the exhaust if it has a muffler, or the intake tubes air filter etc.

Might of found one of the problems, seems to be alot of soot under the manifold on the block but don't see any on the actual manifold. And the turbo doesn't seem to have a flush mount to manifold
Judging by the number on the manifold uts a full tilt product. Not sure if it's genuine or knock off

Can't seem to upload pics say file to big hmmmm

The SDP in stock form only produced 30 psi of boost. It is not like the MXS/NXS that will produce 45 -55 psi of boost.
I have made a disc that I can install on the turbo intake and use regulated shop air to test for leaks, on mxs I find leaks on the bellows and some the piping to the air compressor intake. Also compare the boost of the test tool to cat ET or dash gauge, did find blockage to boost sensor once this way that a few other shops missed. Single turbo boost wouldn't be more then 35-40 psi I would suspect.
