Had to use my fire extinguisher last night. Drum randomly locked up at highway speed. Only on one side of my pup. Very strange...everything looked fine on pretrip and no air leaks. Half the shoe was gone by the time I got to an off ramp and put the fire out. This was 60 miles into my run.

Yep that's what I applied for, P&D. I did the drug test, just waiting for a call back to set up a start date.

No but I should of taken one. I was a bit flustered. I guess it’s called a thermal incident when that happens. Been an increase in these incidents lately according to the safety guy. Considered non-preventable like a blow out so nothing against my safety record.

If I find the ####### who accepted 3-16ft skids of COMPOSITE DECKING for a VAN LOAD. I'm gonna ring his ever loving neck. With a baseball bat upside his head.
Then I'm going to charge him $150 an hour for the handling and manual unloading of it.

3 forklifts to load it on a flatbed car trailer, because I didn't have a regular flat bed to take over to the customer. Couldn't just shove it out a dock door. Had to push it out the ground level over head door, into the street to load it there.

It looked like a troop of monkeys and a football.......You get the picture.
