Hey all Roxy told me about this forum and I have went through almost all of the posts, Roxy is great to talk to, she is real upfront with any questions and most of all--- talks to you like a real person - not in a way like she has no time for questions. I will be finishing my up my 160 hour school class in a couple weeks, I passed all my endorsement tests (hazmat,,doub/trip.,tanker etc and also got my TWIC card, and forklift cert.- just in case) I will be in Missoula on Jan 13th for my 10 day orientation and Sante Fe Springs will be my home terminal. I am really looking forward to this new adventure (midlife career change) and hopefully will be talking and seeing you guys in person throughout the coming years, AND I am sure I will be turning to this group for advice and insight, THANKS again for helping me reinforce my decision to go with w/s instead of the "competitors". I have lots of questions but will stop here for now.

" Wheels-in-the-dirt " is prob not the best user name haha, jk, just dont keep the wheels w.s truck in the dirt and youll do good!.,
glad to hear it wheels!, youll be happy at w.s. its a good company. and as i have said in many other posts on here, w.s is not the BEST, but when compared to most other companies that bring on new students, you really cant not go wrong by starting off here at w.s.
any questions you may have, just ask... somebody will answer whatever questions you will have. -

Oh, and I agree with you, Roxy is a wonderful person to talk with. She has always had time for me and all my stupid questions....she is an asset to this company for sure. -
Maybe you guys can answer a question for me. I'm interested in going with W/S but the addmission's guy at the school I was going to go to just told me that W/S is not hiring right now. Is that true? or is it just that they are not hiring from my area?
