Well I'm not sure if this is what counts and I hope I really don't offend anyone but when I was in my twenties I drove across the country with a friend. The drive was nice until we got into... Arkansas.

Something about that place just creeped me out like no where I have ever been. Now it could have been because we were going through in the middle of the night it could be because of where we stopped for fuel it could be maybe a lot of things but that state creeped me the F out. I could just feel it as soon as we went over the state line.

We stopped at this a.m. p.m. to get fuel and maybe something to eat and I walked into the place and it was like a bunch of hillbillies watching me, like some kind of crazy Children of the Corn movie or something.

Then I saw they had something you know like where the hot dogs would be but I couldn't quite tell what it was so I asked the girl behind the counter. Well she looked like she hadn't taken a bath for I don't know how many days and she looked at me with the one tooth she had in her mouth and she said, that's one of them there barrr eeee towwws.

I was completely exhausted and dead tired but I turned right around I jumped in that car and I drove until I crossed the state line.

Then I slept like a baby once I knew I was out of Arkansas.

Never been back since.
