Hey guys, first trip to Troy MI. I'm trying to decide on the best route with the least amount of hassle. From Albuquerque should I break off NE bound and take hwy 54 to Kansas > Springfield IL> North on I-55 to I-94 and over to Troy.
OR Albuquerque > Oklahoma city> St Louis via I-44 > I-70 to I-57 north to meet up to I-94 and over to Troy.
OR St Louis to Indianapolis VIA I-70A and work my way up to I-94 via I-69
??
I'm running a stinger with 9 cars. Are there any cities here that I should intentionally try to avoid?
Thanks.

If it was me I’m running through the stl area I HATE Kansas City with a passion. But I’ve never hauled cars so other old hands might have better advice

OKC to STL to Indy and up 69 is probably the quickest, as long as you aren't hitting big cities at rush hour you should be fine, there is nothing wrong with 40/54/50/75/36/72/57/80/69,,,,But it is slower and some 2 lane, are you under 13'6 and legal weight? Or are you are you being creative?

You want NO part of I 80 in Illinois about now. Something is awry with the steel bridge by Joliet and last I saw that whole stretch is a gauntlet of skinny construction zones backups and gong shows.
