"Each year, approximately 36,000 people are treated in hospital emergency departments for injuries from using chain saws (1). The potential risk of injury increases after hurricanes and other natural disasters, when chain saws are widely used to remove fallen or partially fallen trees and tree branches. "

Well, got my first load of onions to their destination here in Sodus, NY. Can’t say I’ll never do another load of these things, but I can say this will have been my cheapest rate.

No problems until the last 400 miles when 2 pallets decided they just wanted to start leaning for no apparent reason, and I had to play the tarp game since I caught up to the cold front front in Ohio.

Never realized how many onions were on the shoulder of our highways until I had them on the deck. Thankfully none of the them were from me.

    Shoot I wish.

I actually have both belts on hand. They were getting close to the end of their life and I just hadn't changed em yet. Luckily I haven't so I didn't chew up a new belt. Weren't cheap but also weren't overly expensive.

    No kiddin.

The ac quit blowing cold and I thought ain't no way this just quit working. I just fixed it. Then I saw the volt meter was setting about 11v. I thought oh #### so I killed everything I could. Engine temps were normal so I tried kicking the fan on manually. Nothing. Thought yep I slung a belt. Hopefully it didn't take anything else out with it. Temps stayed down and I got it back to where I park. Opened the hood and saw that. We will get it replaced and be good to go as soon as I can get the thing started in the morning.

I think I just talked to @singlescrewshaker ’s cousin, he had a Chicago accent, he’s skinny and most of all I’m more than certain he threatened to “cap my cracka ###” with the pistol in his waistband for accidentally notching him (they knocked on my door to get loaded and not his after waiting since 3 pm yesterday) :D

Anyone know a more cost effective way to permanently rid property of underbrush than renting a dozer for the day? Lol I’m still young enough to swing a slingblade or similar tool all day long but that’s a temporary solution since it grows back 10 fold :rolleyes:

If you can drive over it, tractor with a brush hog. If not, buy a dozer. You have to return a rental, and once you use it, you’ll always be wishing you had one. I had to wait 12 years before I could afford one after renting and it was a painful wait lol.
