With my actual truck I can’t go more that 40t. The RGN is a 40t with 9’10” gooseneck and 14” king pin setup.
I’ll try to get a 36”H in case that I’ll use a flip neck (23-24” long).

I have 34” at the starting point with inflated airbags. -
I like the holes drilled through the upper flange, right above the warning label saying not to do exactly that!

RGN, Oxbow, MTN Boomer and 7 others Thank this. -
On top flange, behind the the 5th wheel and on the lower flange behind the rearmost axle airbag, you can drill+G8 screw+1”washer on each side+torque at 250.Artax, Stray_Dog and Landincoldfire Thank this. -
Looks like very nice work and not very prevalent need in our area due to 95% of lowboys being hydraulic, but I personally do not care for the plates bolted like that behind the fifth wheel, looks like a catching SOB if you miss a trailer just a bit or have to try and get back under a trailer that was dropped too low, but that's just my $.02
Joe567708 Thanks this. -
This is what they looked like on my other truck.
JDHIGGINS44, Stray_Dog and Joe567708 Thank this. -
I don't have ramps on my truck and have no problem hooking up to the two mechanical necks we have. I do have ever have an over-air system on my air ride that is useful for more than just this procedure.

Pretty good work there!
