With the increasing amount of trucks I see using secondary state routes, we should see more of these.
Coming up Rt 611 north of Philadelphia, about 8 miles south of the junction with I-78 @ Easton is a small, one stop light town that has a bridge and the road makes a bee line into NJ directly to I-78 and looks like a real short cut. Despite the "NO TRUCK" signs repeatedly I see people complaining about another truck having to back out...
Now Most would think twice about the tiny bridge over the canal and can't even see the river bridge until going around the 90 on the other side of the canal and see the guard shack and the signs about the 2.5 ton weight limit... The bridge floor was wood until the late 70's! They turn away F-350's if the load looks to be heavy.MACK E-6 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
