Sorry. Didn’t realize that I was being weird.

There’s an old proverb that says, “the Fear of Man is a Snare.” Basically, it begins with all of that peer pressure crap. Why the majority got into whatever they got into was because EVERYONE ELSE WAS DOING IT. They want people to like them and so they feel the need to be like everyone else.

Peer pressure. Keeping up with the Jones. Bullying. This passive aggressive sidewalk sissy liberal shaming thing everyone seems to do. Black Friday. COVID-19 toilet paper epidemic. People live and die doing what they feel they are expected to do.

Oh, sorry. They center their lives around work because they do not like their life. When work ends, life ends.

Pshhhhh, that's shorts and t-shirt weather.
It's funny how different people are. I would be very comfortable at that temp. When it hits 70.....I start to sweat pretty hard. My inlaws are at my house now and they are tropical folk. It was in the 90s and my father in law had a jacket on. He's crazy.

I'm not giving you a hard time. I speak very plainly so my words aren't up for interpretation. Mostly because I suck at that stuff. I worked with a guy at ITD who retired in his 80s. He got a plaque and the governor named a day after him. I went to his retirement party....it was sad. He worked there for 60 years. I will see if I can find the article. I stopped going to the vfw...couldn't take it anymore. Listening to all the same stories over and over. I was about to have a break down if I heard one more of the same story. It's sad. Guys sit around the table and relive their 20s over and over. Your telling me in the 40 to 50 years after that, you haven't done anything worth talking about? That's just sad. So the past 40 years were a waste? Not one story about grandkids and their accomplishments.......nothing?

You can have this 80° that it stays in my house.

I'm the same. I'd much rather freeze than sweat.

    Yeah?

Meh societal norms. 120 years ago before everyone had ac in their homes and all that jazz people could take the heat better.
