I think the most valuable one i have ever done was a pharmicutical load when i was with May. No idea on the value but i had 2 escorts follow me. Most valuable one i KNOW the price of was 46k of pure copper valued at $4 a pound.

Picked up a 40' container, weight 8K#. To an Aston-Martin dealer.
Two cars I couldn't afford to even test-drive. Do the math.JoeyJunk, Northern Nomad and bzinger Thank this. -
Hauled a load of 100 hardwood liquor casks. Each contained 53 gallons of 120 proof Rye Whiskey... No idea on total value, but I'm sure it was well north of $1M maybe even $2M.

53' van of pennies from the US Mint Denver to the rail for shipment to Chicago, we only did one load, company decided it didn't pay enough for the amount of insurance they wanted us to carry. There was supposed to be 40 loads, one of our competitors did 5 loads before the railroad caught wind of what was being brought in and they decided they didn't want to haul it.
Most valuable load I've ever dealt with, I loosely posted stuff on here about, drove a US Air Force owned tractor trailer from Colorado Springs to Homestead AFB, the trailer was locked, alarmed, tracked, and yes, I did have "Do not delay paperwork" in my possession. Both the tractor and trailer had USAF plates, the permit book had 3 pages: A do not delay/who to call paper from the USAF, a bill of lading from the shipper (also the receiver), and a permission to drive with a copy of my license signed by someone. I had two keys for the trailer, one opened drop compartments containing spare tires, the other opened the trailer, I could only open the traielr door under two conditions, the trailer was on fire, with flames visible, or upon order of the U.S. Military. There were no glad hands, if I had to disconnect in an emergency, I'd have to cut the air lines, otherwise I'd need slipjaw pliers to unscrew them. The trailer was a sat. tracking trailer, built by a contractor, for USAF and DEA, being transported to South America, there were two double drops that arrived about 3 hours after me each hauling a portable sat. dish mounted on a trailer. I've been told the estimated value my truck/trailer was $5 to $10 million.Last edited: Jul 2, 2021
