    Truth!
The wife had talked to a few people that were working on casinos on the strip that said no when the phone rang.

They say the strip was not like it was before. I say it's a job. Get back to it and look for a new one of you don't like it.

I blame it on the HR Cliques dragging there feet hiring people while the HR folks are walking on water crying on the local news they cant find help.
It took my neighbor a month of tap dancing with his HR CULT before he started at his new job.
I think its all a smoke screen , like the drivers shortage is , just a way to raise prices , miss shipping quotas , its a crutch.

I don't know, seems like a lot of work just to have something to whine and ##### about. If you're not hiring why would you be advertising and saying you are, unless they're simply trying to justify the existence of their job.

It's definitely been feeling that way with the likes of Loves and some other fuel haulers I've been trying to get on with. They're advertising $4k bonuses in most areas and I'm even open to relocating now. But despite the so-called desperation, I'm still getting the usual "F off we don't need you" emails and so far, the recruiter I'm trying to get a hold of the past week has me going straight to voice mail and no call returns.

Seems like when I'm ready to step up to the plate and make the move to relocate, the plate gets launched back into my head.

Sounds good. But I was also talking about finally pulling the trigger on the Denver area which I've been avoiding for awhile. Closest metro area to me that's still sort-of western states. And also had companies bugging me about working there. But there's other spots where I'm simply just going to bite the bullet and move to just to have an address for better hiring chances.

I read somewhere that Greeley has a lower cost of living than Denver.
