My goodness. Perhaps he'd done something to upset that "big injun." Goodness, gracious.

My worst experience with truck stops has been waking during the night to tell a lot lizard to get lost.
Worst overall experience was pulling into a shopping plaza in Indy late at night years ago. A guy tried to bum a smoke as soon as I parked. About 5 minutes after I sent him on his way he came back with friends. They pounded on my truck for a few minutes and I could feel them messing with the trailer. It was just dollar store freight and I was 17 hours into my day so I just ignored it until they got bored. After I got some rest I went back there and found the seal gone but the padlock survived. Just a quick call to get a police report number and the company was happy. No harm done.CorsairFanboy, Trucker61016, Lumper Humper and 2 others Thank this. -

Nah I park at major truck stops major crime is unlikely to happen.
Most violence starts with mouthing off and ends up two people fighting like idiots in the street.
However in the off chance something stupid does happen, the truck, trailer and cargo are insured. Provided they stay out of the cab they’ll be fine.
Comeinto the cab and it’s going to be very very unhealthy.geargrabber89, CorsairFanboy, nredfor88 and 3 others Thank this. -

Is it justified to bludgeon he who said "injun"?
Perhaps some additional training of all humans will be in order as a result of this? And seeing as these new orthodoxies rolled out from on high change almost daily, this would indeed be a perpetual training regime would it not?
What's going on here?Lumper Humper, Dockbumper and Savor the Flavor Thank this. -
I am a skinny old lady.... Used to feel safe living in the truck and going 48 states.... for almost 12 yrs....
Have been out of the truck for almost 2 yrs now, going back and forth between Brasil and the USA to take care of somethings.
Just came back from Brasil last Thursday and plan on going back trucking... but for the first time I was not happy or excited about coming back to the US and much less to trucking...
Things have been changing very quickly in this country and for the worst... much worst...
All the growing division, the lack of leadership, lack of law enforcement, defund the police crap, woke crap, racism crap, wide open borders inviting millions of poor miserable "unknown" people from all over the world... I am darn sure violence and crime will continue going up and up and up...
Dad used to call me from Brasil every time he heard about a load or a big truck being stolen and drivers kidnapped and killed as that is common in that country... And I used to calm him down telling him that America was much safer than Brasil.... But not anymore....CorsairFanboy, nredfor88, Lumper Humper and 7 others Thank this.
