    Hmmm missed the quote that some one felt cummins was better than a detroit.
    It depends on how theyy are set up. An engine (no matter the flavor) will pull strongly. Just the mechanic that follows orders of the company that makes the engine asthmatic. All engines will work strongly. Tho if you really want quiet? Get a mercedes.

    Tho it would be fun to have a screaming jimmy in a freightliner

    You make a good argument for Cummins. And the inside information to back it up. Just rather pay $2k for a new head, than $4k. And injectors that last 1mil. instead of 300k. But they’re great. Lol. Nothing against Cummins. Cat it’s personal, too hard on the wallet.
